Kim Dong-yeon (Hangul: 김동연; born 28 January 1957) is a South Korean politician. He has been the 36th governor of Gyeonggi Province since 2022. He was the 4th minister of economy and finance and deputy prime minister from 2017 to 2018.[1] He was an unsuccessful candidate for President of South Korea in the 2025 snap presidential election.[2]
