The Hashemite Kingdom of Hejaz (Arabic: المملكة الحجازية الهاشمية, Al-Mamlakah al-Ḥijāziyyah Al-Hāshimiyyah) was a part of the Hejaz in the Middle East. In 1916, in alliance with the British Empire as part of the Arab Revolt during World War I, Hussein bin Ali, King of Hejaz declared independence from the Ottoman Empire. In 1925 Britain stopped supporting it, and Ibn Saud conquered the Hashemite Kingdom.
