La Seu d'Urgell is a municipality in the Province of Lleida, in Catalonia, Spain.
It has an area of 15.16 km² and a population of 12,229 people. The municipality has a long history, and at times was the seat of a bishop. It was founded by the Romans as Orgelia about 180 BC.
