LangChain is a software that enables the easier use Large language model (LLM) in different applications. It helps connect language models to tasks, including reading and summarizing documents, creating chatbots, and analyzing code.[2]
History
LangChain was started in October 2022 as an open-source project by Harrison Chase. It quickly became popular, with many contributors and online discussions. In 2023, the project raised over $30 million in funding. Later that year, it introduced LangChain Expression Language (LCEL) for defining actions and LangServe for hosting LCEL code as an API.[3][4]
