Leah LaBelle Vladowski (September 8, 1986 โ January 31, 2018) was a Canadian-born American singer
At age 16, she was a finalist on the third season of American Idol and finished in 12th place. Keri Hilson hired LaBelle as a backing vocalist after watching her rendition of "Energy".
LaBelle was killed in a car crash alongside her boyfriend Rasual Butler on January 31, 2018 in Los Angeles, aged 31.[1]
