Leonard Hayflick (May 20, 1928 – August 1, 2024) was an American biologist and professor. He discovered the Hayflick limit and Cell culturing. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Hayflick died in Sea Ranch, California on August 1, 2024, at the age of 96.^[1]
