Lier, Norway

Lier is a municipality in Buskerud county, Norway. In 2023, 28,167 people lived there.

Askgrenda, Fagerliåsen/Poverudbyen, Frydenlund, Gullaug, Huseby (Lier), Kjellstad, Kjenner, Lahell, Lierbyen,[1] Lierskogen, Lierstranda, Nordal, Nøste, Oddevall/Sjåstad, Stoppen, Sylling, and Tranby (Lier).

The mayor, Kjetil Kivle, is elected until late 2027.[2]
