Lilo & Stitch is an American science fiction comedy movie. It is released on May 23, 2025.[1] It was directed by Dean Fleischer Camp and produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich.[2] It is a live-action remake of the 2002 movie Lilo & Stitch. A sequel is in development. It is the second highest grossing movie of 2025 after Ne Zha 2

The movie follows a six-year-old girl named Lilo Pelekai who adopts an alien named Stitch that crash landed on Earth. Most of the movie follows the plot of the 2002 movie.[3]

Principal photography for the movie started in Oahu, Hawaii on May 1, 2023 and ended on March 2024.[4][5]
