Lily Luahana Cole (born December 27, 1987)[2][3] is a British model, actress, author, movie director, and a business owner.[4] She has been an advisor to Wikitribune.[5]

Cole was born in Torquay, Devon, England. Her mother was an artist and writer. Her father was a fisherman, but he left the family when she was a baby. Lily and her sister were raised by their mother in London.[6]

She went to several schools, including the Sylvia Young Theatre School.[6][7] She studied at King's College, Cambridge, a famous university.[8][9] She finished her studies in 2011 with high grades.[10]

Personal life

Cole is in a relationship with Kwame Ferreira.[11] They have a child together, a daughter named Wylde Cole Ferreira, who was born in 2015.[12]

Career

Cole started her career as a model when she was a teenager. She was found by a talent scout when she was 14.[13] She became famous for her red hair and unique look.[14] In 2004, she was named "Model of the Year" at the British Fashion Awards.[15][16] She has been in ads for big brands like Chanel and Hermès.[8]

She also started acting. Her first big movie role was in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus in 2009.[17][18] She has been in other movies and TV shows, like Doctor Who.[19]

Besides acting and modeling, she is also known for helping with good causes. She supports groups that protect the environment and help people. She also started a company called Impossible.com.[20]
