Marcos José Carvajal (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈmarkos ˈhoze karβaˈxal]; 19 August 1984 – 24 January 2018) was a Venezuelan relief pitcher. He played for the Colorado Rockies and Florida Marlins of Major League Baseball.
Carvajal died of pneumonia on January 24, 2018 in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela at the age of 33.[1]
