Matam Region

Matam is a region in the nordeast of Senegal. The regional capital is Matam.

As of the 2013 census, 541,032 people lived there. It has an area of 29,445 km2 (11,369 sq mi).

There are three départements:

  • Kanel Département
  • Matam Département
  • Ranérou Ferlo Département
