Megan Christine Barry[1] (née Mueller; born September 22, 1963) is an American businesswoman and politician. Barry was the seventh mayor of the city government of Nashville and Davidson County, its first female mayor.[2] She was mayor from 2015 until March 6, 2018.
In 2018, Barry resigned after pleading guilty to felony theft related to an affair with a city employee who had was the head of her security detail.[3] Barry is a member of the Democratic Party.
