The Mercedes-Benz O302[1] is a chassis of a coach. It had a step-entrance. It was made from 1965 to 1974 by Mercedes-Benz.
History
Over 32,000 O302s were made,[2] some were made as coaches and some were made as buses.
For the 1974 FIFA World Cup in West Germany, each team was taken in a coach that was painted in the team's colours.[2][2]
In 1976, It was replaced by the O303.[2][3]
O302T
In the 1960s and 1970s, Mercedes OTOMARSAN of Aksaray, Turkey made a new chassis called the O302T. It had a box-shaped chassis and a stronger engine.
