Michelle Christine Trachtenberg (October 11, 1985 – February 26, 2025) was an American television and movie actress. She was best known for her role as Dawn Summers from the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and as Georgina Sparks on the CW television show Gossip Girl.
Early life
Trachtenberg was born in New York City, New York. She was of Russian Jewish descent. Trachtenberg began acting in 1988 at three years old.
Death
Trachtenberg was found dead in her New York City apartment on February 26, 2025.[1][2] Before her death, she had a liver transplant.[3] Her cause of death was problems caused by diabetes.[4]
