The Miss Illinois is a pageant program with Miss America, which is competition for women models representing the state of Illinois in the Miss America contest.

The first "Miss Illinois" sent to the national pageant was Lois Delander who later won the Miss America title in 1927. Including Delander, five Miss Illinois representatives have won the Miss America title. The other Miss Illinois-turned Miss America winners include Judith Ford in 1968, Marjorie Vincent in 1990, Katherine Shindle in 1997, and Erika Harold in 2002.[1]
