The Monsterverse is an action-adventure monster movie franchise featuring Godzilla and King Kong, produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures. The franchise started with Godzilla (2014) which acted as a reboot to the Godzilla franchise. It was followed by Kong: Skull Island (2017), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) and Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire (2024).
