"My Heart Will Go On" is a hit song by Canadian singer Celine Dion, used in the 1997 movie Titanic. Its music was composed by James Horner, while the lyrics were written by Will Jennings. The song won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

The song reached number one in over 10 countries. It became Dion's signature song, and helped her become a popular singer. It was the best-selling single of 1998, and one of the best-selling singles worldwide.

Composition

"My Heart Will Go On" is written in the key of E major. The verses follow the chord progression of E–Bsus4–Aadd9–E–B, while the choruses follow Cm–B–A–B. The song modulates to A major at the end.[1]
