Nader Shah Afshar (Persian: نادرشاه افشار) was a Shah, or king, of Azerbaijanfrom 1736 to 1747. He was also the founder of the Afsharid dynasty .
During the time he ruled Iran, he attacked India and defeated Muhammad Shah, conquered Delhi,[2] and agreed to retreat for Indian wealth and gold.
