Nathaniel Philip Victor James Rothschild, 5th Baron Rothschild (born 12 July 1971), known as Nathaniel Philip Rothschild or Nat Rothschild, is a British-born Canadian financier. He is a birth member of the Rothschild banking family of England.
Rothschild and his first wife, Annabelle Neilson, eloped to Las Vegas on 13 November 1995, following a four-year relationship. The couple separated in 1997 and divorced the following year.[1] His ex-wife died from a heart attack at her home in Chelsea, London on 12 July 2018, aged 49.[2]
Rothschild married his second wife, Loretta Basey, at a luxury Swiss ski resort in Klosters, Grisons on 23 July 2016.[3] In June 2025, it was reported that the couple have a son.[4]
On the death of his father on 26 February 2024, Rothschild succeeded as the 5th Baron Rothschild.
