New South Wales men's cricket team

The New South Wales men's cricket team is based at Sydney in New South Wales. It has been active since 1856, and is organised by Cricket NSW. The team has first-class status, and has competed in the Sheffield Shield since 1892–93.[1] They have won the trophy a record 47 times, most recently in 2019–20. Their home ground is the Sydney Cricket Ground (the SCG). New South Wales' most famous players are Don Bradman and Victor Trumper. Others include Fred Spofforth, Ray Lindwall, Alan Davidson, Richie Benaud, Steve Waugh, and Pat Cummins.
