New York's 23rd congressional district is a congressional district in the state of New York. The district is in the southwest of New York and goes on the border of the state of Pennsylvania. The west side of the district is the shore of Lake Erie. The district has the counties of Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tompkins, and Yates county along with parts of Ontario and Tioga counties.[3] The district is currently represented by Republican Nick Langworthy.
