Nia Imani Franklin (born July 27, 1993) is an American beauty pageant winner and Miss America 2019.
Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Franklin moved to New York City in 2017.[1]
In June 2018, she was crowned Miss New York 2018.[2] On September 9, 2018, she was crowned Miss America 2019 Archived 2020-08-11 at the Wayback Machine in Atlantic City, New Jersey.[3] For the talent portion she sang "Quando m'en vo''" from the opera, La bohème.
