My Ordinary Life (manga)

Nichijou (日常), known in English as "My Ordinary Life" is a shōnen manga created by Keiichi Arawi in 2006. The manga was published by Kadokawa Shoten and it was first serialized in late 2006 on the magazine, "Monthly Shonen Ace" but went in a hiatus in 2015. It came back in 2021 and has been serializing since.[1]

In 2011 the studio, Kyoto Animation created a anime adaptation based off it,[2] and there is a PSP game called "Nichijou: Uchuujin" that is also based off it.[3]

Premise

The series is about the everyday lives of 3 High School girls, Yuuko Aioi (voiced by Mariko Honda in Japanese, Morgan Garrett in English[4]), Mio Naganohara (voiced by Mai Aizawa in Japanese, Leah Clark in English[4]) and Mai Minakami (voiced by Misuzu Togashi in Japanese and Brittany Lauda in English[4])
