Nickel tetracarbonyl

Nickel tetracarbonyl, often called the simpler nickel carbonyl, is a chemical compound. It is made of nickel, carbon, and oxygen. It is a colorless volatile liquid.

Nickel tetracarbonyl is an important reaction intermediate in the Mond process used to make pure nickel metal.[1]

Nickel carbonyl is very toxic.
