Early life

Grishuk began training in skating at the age of four.[1] She moved to Moscow in 1986, and studied at the Sport University from 1988 to 1992.

Career

After they won the gold medal in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan,[2] Platov decided to skate as a professional with a different partner, Maya Usova, so Grishuk began skating professionally by herself.
