Okuku River
Okuku River is a river in the Canterbury region of the South Island of New Zealand.[1]
It flows mostly to the south, starting from small rivers near the Puketeraki Range (on the eastern side). This area is west of the town of Waikari.[1]
The river goes through a steep gorge in the Okuku Range, then joins the Ashley River about 20 kilometres (12 miles) east of Oxford, New Zealand.[1]
Pinchgut Hut is a hut located next to the Okuku River. It is a place where hikers and visitors can stay.[2]
