Order of Jamaica
The Order of Jamaica is an honor given to any Jamaican citizen or to anyone from any other country. The order was made in 1969.[1]
Members and Honorary Members must do:
- wear the Insignia of the Order as a decoration
- be named "The Honourable"
- use the post nominal letters "OJ" (Members) or "OJ (Hon.)" (Honorary Members).
The motto of the Order is "For a covenant of the people".
