Otodontidae is an extinct family of mackreel sharks that lived in Cretaceous to Pleistocene. The more famous species of the family is the Megalodon.[1][2] The genus inclued disputed genus, the Parotodus from example.[3] The family inclued others extinct genus as the Megalolamna and the dubious Megaselachus.
