Padma Sachdev (17 April 1940 – 4 August 2021) was an Indian poet and novelist. She was the first modern woman poet of the Dogri language. She was known for her poetry collection Meri Kavita Mere Geet (My Poems, My Songs). It won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1971.[1] She also received the Padma Shri in 2001.[2]
