Parity in Mathematics
Parity refers to whether an integer is even or odd.
🔹 Even Parity:
- A number has even parity if it is divisible by 2.
- Example: 0, 2, 4, −6 → all have even parity.
🔸 Odd Parity:
- A number has odd parity if it leaves a remainder of integer when divided by 2.
- Example: 1, 3, −5 → all have odd parity.
