Paul Edward Haggis (born March 10, 1953) is a Canadian screenwriter, movie producer, and movie director. He is best known as screenwriter and producer for the Best Picture Oscar winners: Million Dollar Baby (2004) and Crash (2005). He also co-wrote the James Bond movies Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008).
Haggis was sued for an alleged sexual assault claim in New York City in 2013.[2]
