Plaffeien (French: Planfayon) is a municipality of the district of Sense in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. On 1 January 2017, the former municipalities of Oberschrot and Zumholz merged into the municipality of Plaffeien.[3]
It is the third-largest municipality in the canton of Fribourg.
