The Plaxton Premiere, Plaxton Excalibur and Plaxton Prima was bodyworks of coaches. They were made from 1991 to 2004 by Plaxton.

The Premiere, Excalibur and Prima all looked the same but they were made with different heights.

In 2004, the Premiere and the Excalibur was replaced by the Paragon and the Panther.

The Prima was made up until 2012 and wasn't replaced.

Chassis

The Premiere bodywork was built on the DAF SB3000 chassis,[1] Dennis Javelin chassis,[2][3] and the Volvo B10M chassis.[4]

The Excalibur bodywork was built on the Dennis Javelin chassis,[5] Volvo B10M chassis[6] and the Volvo B12T chassis.[7]

The Prima bodywork was built on the DAF SB3000 chassis and the Volvo B7R chassis.[8]

Other models

  • Plaxton made a coach body called the Expressliner II.[9] It was built on the Volvo B10M chassis.[9] It was built for National Express.[9]
  • Plaxton made a coach body called the Interurban[10] (or Premiere Interurban[11]). It was built on the Volvo B10M chassis.[10] It was made for medium distance interurban services. It was made for the Stagecoach Group.[10]
