Poligny is a commune in the Hautes-Alpes department and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.
Geography
Despite being in the Alps, the northern commune area is relatively flat, as the commune is in a valley. The southern part of the commune is much hillier.

Road
The D17, D217A and D817 roads pass through the village of Poligny.
The N85 by-passes the village but still enters the commune.
