Prince Edward Augustus, Duke of Kent and Strathearn was the fourth son of George III of the United Kingdom.
Edward Augustus married in 1818 Princess Victoria Duchess of Kent. He had one daughter, who was later Queen Victoria. He died when his daughter was six months old in 1819.
