Proceratophrys izecksohni is a frog. It lives in Brazil.[2][3][1]
Body
The adult male frog is 32.1-54.2 mm long from nose to rear end. It has light brown color on the bottom of its throat. The frog's belly is cream-white with brown dots.[4]
Home
This frog only lives in forests. Scientists saw it in the dead leaves on the ground in forests that were never cut down and forests that are growing back. Scientists saw the frog between 0 and 200 meters above sea level.[1]
Scientists have seen the frog in Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural Rio das Pedras. They think it may also live in Parque Natural Municipal Da Mata Atlântica and Parque Estadual do Cunhambebe.[1]
Young
The female frog puts eggs in deep streams with rocks in them. The tadpoles live in the bottom of the stream.[1]
Danger
Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is not in danger of dying out. Human beings change the places where the frog lives to make towns, farms, and places for animals to eat grass.[1]
