Moehring's smooth horned frog (Proceratophrys moehringi) is a frog. It lives in Brazil.[2][3][1]

Home

This frog lives next to streams in forests that were never cut down and forests that were cut down and are growing back. Scientists saw the frog between 100 and 800 meters above sea level.[2][1]

There are protected places where the frog lives: Estação Biológica de Santa Lucia, Parque Estadual do Forno Grande, and Reserva Biológica Augusto Ruschi.[1]

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is not in danger of dying out. People change the places where the frog lives by cutting down trees to get wood, make farms, and make places for cows to eat grass, but there is a big forest left in Serra do Castelo, and almost no one is cutting down trees there.[1]
