Proceratophrys redacta is a frog. It lives in Brazil.[2][3][1]

Home

Scientists saw this frog in dry Caatinga places. They found it near streams. Scientists saw the frog between 890 and 1250 meters above sea level.[1]

Scientists have seen the frog near Parque Estadual do Morro do Chapéu but scientists have not seen it inside the park.[1]

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is in danger of dying out. Human beings change the places where the frog lives to dig in the ground for iron and to make farms, and places for animals to eat grass. Humans also use fire to change the forest to fields. Scientists also think wind farms for electricity might hurt the frog but they are not sure.[1]
