The Santo smooth horned frog or Brazilian smooth horned frog (Proceratophrys schirchi) is a frog. It lives in Brazil.[2][3][1]

Home

This frog lives on the dead leaves on the ground in forests that were never cut down and forests that are growing back. Scientists saw the frog between 0 and 800 meters above sea level.[1]

Young

This frog has young in streams.[1]

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is not in danger of dying out. People change the places where the frog lives to get wood to build with and to make towns, places for animals to eat grass, tree farms, and other farms. Bad chemicals from the farms can also hurt the frog.[1]
