Proceratophrys tupinamba is a frog. It lives in Brazil.[2][3][1]
Home
Scientists saw this frog in forests on an island called Ilha Grande. Scientists saw the frog between 0 and 1131 meters above sea level.[1]
Scientists found the frog in a protected park called Parque Estadual da Ilha Grande. They believe it lives in Área de Proteção de Tamoios and Reserva Biológica Estadual Da Praia Do Sul too.[1]
Young
Scientists saw the tadpoles in streams. The tadpoles live at the bottom of the stream.[1]
Danger
Scientists from the IUCN say the frog is not in danger of dying out. All of the island where the frog lives is protected. People do visit the island to hike and visit the beach, so human beings may affect the frog a little. Scientists say the biggest danger for the frog is climate change.[1]
