Queensland men's cricket team

The Queensland men's cricket team is based at Brisbane in Queensland. It has been active since 1882. The team is organised by Queensland Cricket. Queensland has first-class status, and has competed in the Sheffield Shield since 1926–27.[1] They have won the trophy nine times, most recently in 2020–21. Their home ground is the Brisbane Cricket Ground, also known as The Gabba. Queensland's most famous player is Allan Border. Others include Wally Grout, Wes Hall, and Jeff Thomson.
