Quit Playing Games (with My Heart) is a pop/R&B song by American boy band Backstreet Boys. It was released as the single on October 14, 1996. It was also recorded in June 1995.[3] It is from their debut international studio album. It was also later released on their debut US studio album. It reached number 1 in Austria,[4] Czechia,[5] Germany,[6] Lithuania[7] and Switzerland.[8] It also reached number 2 in the United Kingdom[9] and the United States' Billboard Hot 100.[10] Also, it reached number 7 in the Netherlands.[11] Because of this song reaching number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, it makes it their most successful on that billboard. It also sold 2 million copies in the US.[12]
