R. L. Stine
Robert Lawrence Stine (born October 8, 1943), known as R. L. Stine, is an American horror fiction author. He is also a television producer. He is known for creating the Goosebumps and Fear Street book series.
Stine was born to a Jewish family in Columbus, Ohio.[1] R.L. Stine was the son of Lewis Stine, a shipping clerk, and Anne Feinstein. Stine grew up in Bexley, Ohio. Stine began writing at the age of nine, when he found a typewriter in his attic, subsequently beginning to type stories and joke books.
