Racine (/ˈreɪsiːn/ RAY-seen) or (/rəˈsiːn/ rə-SEEN)[7] is a city in and the county seat of Racine County, Wisconsin, United States. It is located on the shore of Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Root River.[8] Racine is centrally located between Milwaukee and Chicago. As of the 2020 U.S. census, the city had a population of 77,816.[3]
