Roma Downey (born 6 May 1960) is an Irish actress.[1] She played the angel Monica in Touched by an Angel. She also played the Virgin Mary in Son of God in 2014.
Downey was born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. She is currently married to the producer Mark Burnett.
