Rudolftelep
Rudolftelep is a village in Kazincbarcika District of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County. Its population in 2024 was 676.[1]
Location
It is located in the north-western part of the county, 10 km from Kazincbarcika. It is a hillside settlement, separated from Izsófalva by only one hill, from where the road 26 106, branching off from road 2609, leads to the village.
History
The village was once part of Izsófalva. In August 1993, the people of the village voted in a referendum to separate from Izsófalva. Because of administrative reasons, it only became an independent village in December 1994, and officially on January 1, 1995.
Population
In 2022, 88.1% of the population identified as Hungarian, 0.9% as German, 0.7% as Roma, 0.1% as Ukrainian, 0.1% as Bulgarian, and 0.4% as belonging to other non-domestic nationalities (11.9% did not declare; due to dual identities, the total may exceed 100%). In terms of religion, 9.9% were Roman Catholic, 7.1% Reformed, 5.6% Greek Catholic, 0.7% other Christian, 0.3% Lutheran, and 20.9% non-denominational (54.9% did not respond).[2]
