Russell Frank Ebert OAM (22 June 1949 – 5 November 2021) was an Australian rules footballer and coach. He was called the greatest players in the history of Australian rules football in South Australia.[1][2] Ebert was the only player to have won four Magarey Medals.[3] He was born in Berri, South Australia.
Ebert was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in late December 2020.[4] He died from the disease on 5 November 2021 in Adelaide, South Australia at the age of 72.[5]
