Russell Westbrook Jr. (born November 12, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets. Westbrook has previously played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Washington Wizards, and the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Westbrook played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins. Westbrook ispoint guard and stands 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m). He was named the 2017 NBA MVP (Most Valuable Player) after finishing the season averaging a triple double, the first player to do so since Oscar Robertson during the 1961-1962 season. Russell Westbrook was named the 46th best player in the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team. Westbrook was also the three-time Shaqtin a Fool MVP, making him the first and only active player to win it.
