Sandy Hook Permanent Memorial is a memorial in Newtown, Connecticut. The memorial is in memory of the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that occurred on December 14, 2012, including 20 children and 6 teachers.[1] It is located near the original school site, which was torn down following the tragedy.[2]
