Santiago Bernabéu de Yeste (8 June 1895 – 2 June 1978) was a former Spanish football player. He was also the president of Real Madrid between 11 September 1943 and his death on 2 June 1978.[1] He is considered one of the most important figures in the history of Real Madrid.[2]

Real Madrid's current stadium is named after him.[3]
